His mother, Aneta Sochan, was a former basketball player for Polonia Warsaw, one of the oldest basketball clubs in Poland.

She also played for Panhandle State in Oklahoma, where she met Sochan’s father, Ryan Williams.

The couple moved to England, where Sochan spent most of his childhood.

He started playing basketball at a young age, following his parents’ footsteps.

He played for the MK Trojans in Milton Keynes, and then for the Solent Kestrels youth team and Itchen College in Southampton.

Tragedy and New Beginnings
